Simple Ideas to Fill a Bedroom With a Musical Style
By Jessica Stockton
Music is a part of our lives that anyone can relate to it. It speaks many languages and can some times relay an event or story in our life. Whether you are a musician or just a music lover, you can get inspiration from any music. To embrace your love for music, you do not need to build a music room. You can simply transform your bedroom into a music themed one. There are some simple guidelines that you can follow to give you some ideas on how to transform your bedroom with a musical style: The most important step to take when transforming your room to a music themed bedroom is to create a plan. Planning will help you visualize your ideas on paper. It can also help you determine areas you need to work on. Put in your plan any major changes that you require, from changing the paint color, re-arranging your furniture or totally replacing everything. Once your plan is completed then you will have a clear cut idea on how to proceed. Creating a plan will also help you create a budget. Although it may seem tiresome, in the end a budget will assist you in getting the appropriate items for your music themed bedroom. If changing your bedroom walls is part of your plan, then proceed with this first. The design and style of your wall can ultimately decide the style of the furniture and accessories you need to bring in. Since music is a source of inspiration, you may want to paint your walls in colors that make you feel relaxed. You can also use wallpaper instead of paint. Neutral colors like beige, brown, and peach are just some examples that work best with a music themed room. You can add more color with the rest of your accessories or décor. If you prefer not to use musical themed bed linens then you can just place accent pieces like a throw pillow with a musical note or musical instrument. Use bedding in solid colors, florals or geometric prints as a backdrop for your musical embellishments. A classic musical theme goes well with florals, while jazz or rock and roll works well with contemporary fabrics and bold geometric prints. Hanging wall decors is also a great way to express your love for music. You may use music notes wall hangings or you can frame up music sheets of your favorite music. Framing paintings or pictures of famous composers is a good way to add a personal touch to your walls. Or create a unique wall arrangement by hanging actual musical instruments. Creativity is what music is about, so go ahead and express yourself.
